It is HSA eligible and can be paired with a high-deductible insurance plan or used on its own.

We see far fewer patients than a typical primary care provider, which means visits run longer than the typical 15 minutes. You communicate directly with Kristina Schafer instead of going through a phone tree, and you get same-day or next-day access for most needs. Generic medications are included in your flat monthly fee, and labs and imaging are available at low cash-pay pricing rather than insurance pricing.

Do you accept insurance?

Our Direct Primary Care membership is not billed through insurance. Members pay a flat monthly fee that is HSA eligible. Many members keep a high-deductible insurance plan for hospitalizations, specialists and emergencies, and use Riverstone for everything primary care. Our psychiatric services do accept several insurance plans, including Medicaid.
